Nail Vagapov

At the heart of Nail Vagapov's work is the ecology of the soul and the ecology of the environment. His works are filled with anxiety over the loss of everything warm and human in our world, and they carry the energy and expressiveness of their author. Many compositions reveal his designer's way of thinking. In the artist's later series a romantic theme appears, inspired by places he loves.

Born in 1956 in Tashkent. In 1990 he graduated in industrial design from the Sverdlovsk Institute of Architecture (now the Ural State University of Architecture and Art). He lives and works in Sterlitamak, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia.
